GAME DAY PREDICTION - Broncos 28, Seahawks 24

"Normally, a great defense beats a great offense. But this happens to be the most explosive offense in the history of the forward pass. Plus, their defense finally showed up."

GAME DAY PREDICTION - Denver 21, Seattle 17

"Snow, hail or wind...no better setting than the Big Apple, against the #1 rated defense in football, to send a resounding shot thru the history books and jump to the head of the class as the greatest QB of all-time. Denver's offense will lack some precision and timing mechanisms, and the stats may not be gaudy, but #18 jogs off the MetLife turf a Super Bowl champion for the second time in his brilliant career. Conversely, Russell Wilson struggles in his first big dance, completing his erratic theme since November. Lynch will grind out some tough yards and Richard Sherman will have a moment or two, but I'm rolling with the biggest dog of 'em all: Peyton Manning."

GAME DAY PREDICTION - Broncos 27, Seahawks 23

"Despite having the formula to take down Denver - a strong running game, and a physical secondary - the Seahawks' offense won't be able to keep up with the high-octane Broncos. Peyton Manning will deploy a controlled passing attack, allowing me to stick with my preseason prediction of the Broncos over the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII."

GAME DAY PREDICTION - Seahawks 26, Broncos 20

"The way I see it, no matter who wins, we all win. And no matter who wins, we all lose. If the Seahawks win, a "running quarterback" will have won the Super Bowl, and we can begin to put that silly narrative to rest. We'll also get a whole bunch of Richard Sherman commercials, and maybe even the video of him screaming that he's "GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!" If the Broncos win, we'll get to put the "Peyton Manning isn't a playoff winner" bit to bed, and finally just recognize him for the legendary quarterback he is. The downside, obviously, is that no matter who wins, one of those silly storylines stays alive. As for the game, I just feel like while this should be very close, I think the Seattle defense is built for a game like this, in an atmosphere like this, in weather like this. As amazing as Peyton Manning is, and as big as the mistakes Colin Kaepernick made were, I still think a QB who is more of a playmaker (like Kaepernick) has a better chance to make things happen against the Seattle defense, which against the pass is in elite, historical company."
